Exeter to scan Immanuel Feyi-Waboso's hamstring injury

England winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso injured his hamstring during Exeter Chiefs' 34-28 win over Newcastle at Sandy Park.

He left the match 15 minutes into the second half, after playing in all three of Exeter's league games this season.

Exeter are expected to scan the injury early in the week to assess its extent.

Director of rugby Rob Baxter said it seemed more like an overloaded hamstring than a serious tear, but Feyi-Waboso did not feel right.

The 23-year-old has had hamstring trouble before and missed this year's Six Nations after an injury in January.

He also started all three of England's summer Nations Championship matches and scored against Fiji and Argentina.

England are due to host Australia, Japan and New Zealand in November, and the scan should clarify the extent of the injury.
