Forest Green will not rush to appoint a manager after Savage leaves
Robbie Savage left Forest Green Rovers at the start of October to take a role with Peterborough in League One.
The Gloucestershire club, which plays in England’s fifth tier, has not started looking for a replacement.
Owner Dale Vince says the club wants to see how it goes with coaches Josh Bowen, Yan Klukowski and Jonathan Gould leading the team.
The coaches have been in charge since Savage left, and Forest Green lost 4-2 to Hartlepool on Saturday.
That result extended the club’s winless run to five matches.
Vince says the coaches have experience and know the players and club well.
He says the club may continue this approach for a few games or a month, and has not ruled out what might happen after that.
