Dwight Howard made his debut in Georgia’s basketball league for Black Fortress, a team based in Tbilisi.

The 41-year-old former NBA player scored 12 points and collected seven rebounds in 17 minutes.

He also had one assist and three steals.

Black Fortress lost 75-70 to Iverioni.

The defeat left Black Fortress with losses in its first two games of the season.

Howard has continued his basketball career in different leagues and competitions since his NBA career, which ran from 2004 to 2022.

The Georgian league is his latest stop in that career.
