Machida Zelvia use Europe-returning players in push for J1 title

Machida Zelvia are fourth in Japan’s J1 soccer league and are in contention for their first league title.

The club’s finances grew after CyberAgent took control in 2018.

It has brought back players from European clubs, including one who returned from the Netherlands in August.

The club is trying to use this approach to compete at the top.
