Maresca says Manchester City's titles are not tainted by verdict
An independent commission found Manchester City guilty of most of the Premier League financial-rule breaches it was accused of between 2009 and 2018.
City denies the charges and has appealed the verdict.
The findings have raised questions about the club's success, including its titles and its 2023 treble.
Manager Enzo Maresca said he trusts the club's owners and leaders and would have taken the job even if the verdict had come earlier.
He said the titles were not tainted, citing the effort he saw while working with Pep Guardiola during the treble-winning season.
City play Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, their first match since the verdict was announced.
