Milan court denies Wanda Nara monthly divorce payment from Mauro Icardi
A civil court in Milan has finalized the divorce between Argentine media personality Wanda Nara and footballer Mauro Icardi.
It rejected Nara’s request for €100,000 a month in support from Icardi.
The judges said her own resources are sufficient for her needs.
They also said she had not shown that she gave up career opportunities during the marriage to care for the family.
Under the principle described in the ruling, a difference in wealth alone is not enough to justify a compensatory payment.
Nara had previously sought €250,000 a month in support during the separation, and the court ordered her to pay two-thirds of the legal costs.
Separate disputes remain over support for the couple’s daughters in Argentina and the division of property.

Marcovecchio said the court rejected Nara’s claims for financial support and economic compensation.
The decision is based on a fundamental principle: to obtain a divorce allowance, it is not enough to show an economic disparity; one must prove having sacrificed professional prospects during the marriage to care for the family.
When they reject a request, that is losing, not simply not winning.
