Kerala tech group to seek India’s help over U.S. Green Card curbs

The U.S. has suspended eight technology companies, including several major Indian firms, from a programme used in the Green Card process.

The suspension could affect new applications and pending cases for eligible employees, but does not by itself change existing H-1B visas.

Kerala industry group GTech plans to ask India’s government to raise the issue with the U.S. The change could leave some workers’ plans for permanent residency uncertain.
