Appeal court sets 13 October proceedings in SERAP defamation case

A lower court ordered SERAP to pay N100 million in a defamation case brought by two State Security Service officials.

SERAP and its deputy director appealed the ruling.

The Court of Appeal said one appeal was not ready for hearing and set 13 October for proceedings on both appeals.

The appeals could determine whether the award stands.
