Windows 11 23H2 Enterprise editions lose security updates after November

Microsoft says Windows 11 23H2 Enterprise, Education and IoT Enterprise devices will stop receiving security updates after the November 2026 update.

Without those updates, the devices will no longer get monthly protections against the latest security threats.

Support for the Home and Pro editions of Windows 11 23H2 already ended in November 2025.

Microsoft recommends that eligible devices move to Windows 11 26H2, which became generally available in September 2026.

The update is being offered in stages to eligible Windows 11 devices, and users can check for it in Windows Update settings.

If it is ready for a device, users can download and install it, then restart once to complete the process.

The November update is the final one for the affected 23H2 editions, so users will need to upgrade to a supported Windows version to continue receiving security updates.
