Craig Zobel to direct ‘Something Is Killing the Children’ film
Craig Zobel will direct a feature film based on the horror comic “Something Is Killing the Children.”
The project was announced at New York Comic Con, and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse is among its producers.
The comic, created by James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera, was first published in 2019.
Its story follows monster hunter Erica Slaughter, who comes to the town of Archer’s Peak after children disappear.
She tries to stop the creature preying on them.
The comic has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide and has been translated into more than 20 languages.
Blumhouse is also developing an adult animated series, with Tynion IV guiding that version.
