Adidas Shoes Win Both Divisions at the 2026 Chicago Marathon

Amos Kipruto won the men’s race at the 2026 Chicago Marathon in 2:01:09.

Hawi Feysa won the women’s race in 2:13:33, making it an Adidas victory in both divisions.

Both champions wore Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 shoes.

The men’s runner-up, Tadese Bikila, also wore that model, while Nike Apex runners took third, fourth and fifth.

The Adidas shoe had a limited release in April and sold out quickly; a wider release is scheduled for October 29.

The Nike Apex is not expected to be available to the public until January.

The results show which shoes top runners wore, but the story does not establish that the shoes alone determined their finishes.
