Patrick Clancy finishes Chicago Marathon weeks after ex-wife's trial ends in mistrial

Patrick Clancy finished the Chicago Marathon in 3 hours, 35 minutes and 29 seconds.

His wife, Dr Rachel Danis, was there to cheer him on.

The race took place weeks after a jury in Massachusetts could not reach a verdict in the trial of his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy.

The case concerns the deaths of their three children at their home in Duxbury in January 2023.

Lindsay Clancy did not deny killing the children but pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, saying she had severe postpartum depression and psychosis.

The jury was deadlocked 11 to 1, and a mistrial was declared in September.

There is no verdict in the case, and the account does not say what happens next.
