Organs from brain-dead man donated to four people in Andhra Pradesh

A 34-year-old man was declared brain-dead at a hospital in Rajamahendravaram.

His family agreed to donate his lungs, liver and kidneys.

Police helped get the organs to hospitals in Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad, while one kidney was transplanted locally.

The donations gave four people a chance to receive organ transplants.
