Henry Schirmer to become Cofra CFO in January 2027

Cofra has named Henry Schirmer its next chief financial officer, with the change planned for 1 January 2027.

The Swiss investment group is based in Zug and operates in Europe, America and Asia.

Schirmer has worked at Cofra since 2024 as its Chief Family Ownership Officer.

He previously served as CFO of Randstad and led finance for Unilever's Europe and North America regions.

He will succeed Florian Brenninkmeyer, who was recently appointed the group's next board chairman.

Cofra says Schirmer's experience will help maintain financial discipline as it develops into a family-owned investment management group.

His appointment still needs regulatory approval.
