Heathen trailer shows dismemberment-based combat in an upcoming dungeon crawler

Heathen is an upcoming first-person dungeon crawler set beneath a fantasy town.

Players can cut off monster limbs and use severed heads to attack other enemies.

The developer says dismemberment will also help players defeat more unusual creatures.

The game will support online co-op, but it has no release date yet.
