UN envoy says Yemen has returned to full-scale war

The UN envoy says Yemen has returned to full-scale war, with fighting spreading across several fronts.

The UN says at least 46 civilians have been killed and more than 130 injured since August.

More than 200,000 people have also been displaced since the beginning of August, according to the UN.

The envoy is urging the sides to negotiate because battlefield gains alone cannot end the conflict.
