Brennan Poole to leave Alpha Prime Racing after 2026 season

Brennan Poole and Alpha Prime Racing will part ways after the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season.

Poole, 36, has driven the team's No.

44 car since 2024.

He has more than 200 starts in the series, with one pole, 12 top-five finishes and 48 top-10 finishes.

The team offered him a deal for 2027, but he declined it.

Alpha Prime has announced a new partnership with Ford for 2027, but Poole will not be part of those plans.

Team owners said they were disappointed to see him go and thanked him for his work.

Poole's plans for 2027 have not been announced.

It’s disappointing, for sure. He’s been a great driver for us and we feel like we’ve put a great team around him. But we appreciate everything.
