BYD shows charging system that can fully charge a car in 9 minutes at -30°C

BYD demonstrated a charging room chilled to -30°C at its headquarters in Shenzhen, China.

The company said a car could be fully charged there in nine minutes.

The demonstration focused on charging in very cold conditions.

If the system works as described, it could make charging faster in extreme cold.
