Volvo begins truck production at its Nuevo León plant and ships first units to Canada
Volvo has begun making trucks at a new factory in Nuevo León, Mexico.
The first trucks were sent to Canada, but they are part of production tests, not full-scale output.
Volvo says the plant is intended mainly to supply the US market as production grows.
The project shows the company is keeping its long-term plans despite current trade restrictions.
