Singapore to distribute N95 masks if haze reaches very unhealthy levels

Singapore has set aside N95 masks for people more vulnerable to haze or who may have difficulty getting masks.

They can collect them if the 24-hour PSI rises above 200, a level classified as very unhealthy.

Schools may be considered for closure if the next day's air quality forecast is hazardous and the PSI exceeds 300.

The measures are meant to reduce health risks if smoke haze reaches Singapore.
