Houthis threaten Saudi oil sites and airports after strikes in Yemen
Yemen’s Houthi group threatened Saudi oil facilities and airports after reported air strikes in Yemen.
The warning followed a Saudi-led coalition order for civilians to leave an oil station in Houthi-controlled Sanaa, the Yemeni capital.
Explosions were reported in Sanaa, and Houthi-affiliated media said strikes hit an oil facility there.
The coalition also reportedly struck oil storage tanks at Ras Issa port and an oil station in Hodeidah province.
The Houthis said they could target sites in Saudi Arabia, including Aramco facilities and airports, if Sanaa was attacked.
The threat comes after deadly Houthi attacks on Saudi airports over the weekend, which killed at least 13 people and injured more than 300 at King Khalid International Airport.
The Houthis have not yet launched a response to these latest strikes, while Saudi Arabia says it intercepted three drones north of Riyadh.
