Rural digital center opens in Konya to help local producers reach new markets
A new digital center has opened in Yarma, a rural area in Konya, Turkey.
It is the sixth center in the Villages of Tomorrow project, run by Trendyol and the United Nations Development Programme.
The project began in October 2022 and has reached more than 10,000 people.
It helps local producers, businesses and cooperatives improve products and branding, prepare goods for sale, and use online sales channels.
Producers who complete training can offer their goods through the project’s online shop, with access to customers in Turkey and some overseas markets.
