Houthi advances cut Taiz’s main road as prices rise
Houthi forces have captured territory around Taiz and cut its main road to other government-held areas.
Residents fear the city could face a siege like the one it endured in 2015 and 2016.
Blocked routes can make it harder to bring in food, fuel, medicine and other essentials.
This matters because millions of people live in government-held parts of Taiz governorate, and fighting has also displaced people.
