Xiaomi launches 10,000mAh magnetic power bank with 45W wired charging

Xiaomi has launched a new 10,000mAh magnetic power bank in China, where it is sold on Xiaomi Youpin for 399 yuan.

It has an aluminum body, measures 13.2mm thick and weighs 195 grams.

Xiaomi says its silicon-carbon battery design makes it smaller and lighter than the company’s earlier 10,000mAh, 33W magnetic power bank.

The new model can deliver up to 45W through its USB-C port and up to 20W wirelessly, though wireless speed depends on the device being charged.

It can charge two devices at once by wired and wireless methods, but their combined output is limited to 15W.

The power bank also has tools for checking battery health and temperature, and it meets China’s stated portable-battery safety standard.

Its capacity is below the 100Wh limit for standard airline travel.
