Electric car registrations in Spain pass 100,000 in the first nine months of 2026

More than 100,000 electric cars were registered in Spain in the first nine months of 2026.

That was 39.5% more than in the same period a year earlier.

The Tesla Model 3 was the most registered electric model, while BYD sold more cars than any other brand over the period.

The figures show that electric cars are becoming a larger part of Spain’s car market.
