King Charles reportedly lends Andrew £1.5 million for mansion repairs
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had to leave Royal Lodge before his lease ended.
The Crown Estate said he owed £1.8 million for repairs and was entitled to £302,000 in compensation for moving out early.
King Charles reportedly lent him the remaining £1.5 million to pay the bill.
The arrangement draws attention to how the former prince’s costs are being covered and whether taxpayers will be affected.
