Jakarta Completes Renovations at 16 of 19 Targeted School Buildings
Jakarta’s provincial government says it has completed renovations at 16 of the 19 school buildings targeted for work in 2025.
Renovation is still underway at the other three buildings.
The program has a total budget of 876.7 billion rupiah and covers five administrative areas of Jakarta.
It includes kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and vocational schools.
The work is intended to provide safer, more comfortable and modern places for students to learn.
The governor said better school facilities can support teaching and learning and help children access quality education.
Jakarta plans to continue renovating and upgrading schools in stages, based on needs and priorities.
