New Paranormal Activity film returns to the original house
The eighth Paranormal Activity film is scheduled to open on May 21, 2027.
It will return to the house where Katie and Micah lived in the 2007 original.
The story’s plot has not been revealed.
It is not known whether Katie or Micah will appear in the new film.
Oren Peli, who directed the original, is producing it with James Wan and Jason Blum.
Ian Tuason, director of Undertone, will direct.
The franchise helped put Blumhouse on the map, and the studio had previously decided it had run its course.
The new film is being made with Atomic Monster, but no further details about its story have been announced.
