Apple may be linked to HomeView and homeOS trademark filings

Companies that may be linked to Apple filed trademarks for HomeView and homeOS last year.

Apple is expected to show a new smart home hub on October 13.

The filings could hint at the device’s name and software, but they do not prove Apple will use either name.

Apple has previously filed trademarks it later did not use.
