Strike in occupied Donetsk killed 20 Russian officers, monitors say
A Ukrainian missile strike hit two Russian military headquarters in occupied Donetsk on Aug.
26.
Mediazona identified 20 officers killed, including seven colonels.
It says this is the largest known number of Russian officers killed in one attack since the invasion began.
The officers’ deaths show that senior military staff can also be vulnerable to strikes.
