Helsing gets more time for Bundeswehr drone qualification

The HX-2 is a combat drone made by German company Helsing.

It still needs to pass a test before it can be approved for use in Lithuania.

The company reportedly has until the end of October to complete the test.

Germany’s defence ministry said a company received extra time because the delay was not its fault.

The ministry said qualification is close to completion, and the delay is not expected to disrupt the overall order.
