The Social Reckoning earns $650,000 in North American previews

The Social Reckoning earned $650,000 from Thursday preview screenings in North America.

It is now expected to make about $6 million over its opening weekend, down from an earlier estimate of $7 million.

The film follows Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen.

A weak opening could mean fewer people are going to see it than expected.
