A'ja Wilson's record fifth MVP season ends in Aces' semifinal sweep

A'ja Wilson won her fifth WNBA MVP award, a league record.

But she and the Aces lost to the Valkyries in overtime and were eliminated from the semifinals.

Wilson had 21 points and 10 rebounds, but struggled with her shooting late in the game.

Her season shows that even a star player can’t always overcome a strong defense and team setbacks.
