London Korean Film Festival to screen 22 films from Nov. 2 to 16
The 21st London Korean Film Festival will run from Nov.
2 to 16 at three cinemas in London.
It will present 22 Korean films, bringing new work and filmmakers to audiences in the United Kingdom.
The opening film is Kim Mi-jo’s “Gyeongju Trip,” a family revenge story about four women whose youngest daughter does not return from a school trip.
The closing film is Park Hoon-jung’s action noir “Sad Tropics,” which won the top prize in the international competition at this year’s Etrange Festival in France.
Both ceremonies will take place at the British Film Institute’s Southbank venue, and the opening and closing filmmakers will meet audiences.
The programme also includes Lee Chang-dong’s “Possible Love,” a Venice Film Festival award winner, and “Bedford Park,” which received a special jury prize at Sundance.
