Russia says its forces took two settlements in the Donetsk region
Russia’s Defense Ministry says its forces took Novotroitskoye and Petrovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic over a 24-hour period.
The ministry also says Russian forces established control over Reznikovo and Kupino in the Kharkov Region.

Fighting is still underway in the Kharkov Region around seven other settlements, according to the ministry.
