Noida E-Bus Depot Reports Rising Ridership And Revenue

Noida has been using 100 electric buses to provide cleaner public transport.

During the first 13 days of September, these buses carried nearly 2 lakh passengers.

They travelled about 2.96 lakh kilometres and earned more than Rs 61.75 lakh.

Bus performance was better than in August.

The three participating authorities together served more than 7.18 lakh passengers since operations began on June 20.

Greater Noida had the strongest results per bus during the September period.

The buses are intended to improve connections among Noida, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Authority area.

They are also expected to support travel to Jewar Airport.

Officials have proposed a command centre to watch the buses and routes around the clock.
