SNIST held a 36-hour competition called LaunchPadX for student teams.

The event took place in Hyderabad from August 22 to 23, 2026.

Students worked together to create technology-based solutions to real-world problems.

They had to think of ideas, build prototypes, test them and present their work in a short time.

Teachers, mentors and industry professionals helped guide the teams.

The winning team received a cash prize of ₹1 lakh.

Students also practiced communication, leadership and entrepreneurship.

Because the event continued overnight, the organisers arranged separate accommodation and sought police support for security.
