Regional Hackathon-2026 held to promote innovation in life sciences
Some smart students got together for a big idea party called a hackathon.
A hackathon is a fun event where people work together to solve problems.
This special hackathon was all about life sciences, which is the study of living things like animals, plants, and people.
It happened at SKVT Government Degree College in a city called Rajamahendravaram.
About 40 teams joined, and each team had three students.
The best five teams will go to another college for four days of special training.
There, experts will help them turn their ideas into real projects.
Students can also learn how to start their own companies.
The winning ideas could win prizes worth up to 5 lakh rupees, which is a lot of money.
The organisers hope this hackathon helps young people use their bright ideas to make the world better.

Around 40 teams of three students each from colleges affiliated to Adikavi Nannaya University participated.
The event was jointly organised by SKVT Government Degree College, Acharya Nagarjuna University and Exceller.
The five best-performing teams will attend a four-day specialised training programme at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur.
Total prize money can go up to Rs 5 lakh, with startup guidance and support from Tata Hub Innovation Hub.
