The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating three engineering colleges in Bengaluru for allegedly taking cash for admissions.

The ED searched the colleges and found evidence of seat blocking, where seats were reserved for students who weren't planning to enroll.

This was done using login credentials.

The ED found that admissions for management quota seats were often done in a hidden way, with cash involved.

They also found agents involved in bringing students to the colleges.

During the searches, the ED seized Rs 1.37 crore in cash.

The colleges have not yet commented on the ED's charges.
