Bihar: 100 wireless communication devices seized near Nepal border
Soldiers who guard India's border with Nepal stopped a car that was trying to drive into Nepal.
Inside the car, they found 100 walkie-talkie-style radios that let people talk from far away.
These radios need a special permission paper before they can be carried, but this car did not have that paper.
The soldiers took the radios and arrested the car's driver, who said he was promised 1,000 rupees to move them.
At another checkpoint, soldiers caught a person carrying Nepalese money worth 2.63 lakh rupees.
That person's money was taken, and he was handed over to customs officials.
In both cases, soldiers said the people did not have the required official permission.
National security agencies have been alerted about what happened.

The consignment, found in an SUV's trunk at the Niyor border outpost, included 50 Baofeng walkie-talkie sets and 50 portable wireless devices.
The devices lacked the required Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) permits.
The SUV driver, from Nepal's Saptari district, was arrested and said he was promised Rs 1,000 to transport the shipment.
In a separate operation at Kataiya border outpost, one person was arrested and Rs 2.63 lakh in Nepalese currency was seized.
