He had been wanted in a case involving an AK-47 rifle and ammunition.

The weapon was found near a bridge in Muzaffarpur in May 2024.

Police initially arrested four people in that case.

The NIA later took over the investigation.

The agency says Karamullah and others may have brought illegal weapons from Nagaland to Bihar.

Investigators say this could have threatened public safety and national security.

The NIA has also filed chargesheets against several other suspects.
