Karnataka Government Stands With Farmers Amid Bidar Crop Losses

The rain did not come when farmers in Bidar needed it.

Because there was not enough rain in June and July, many crops got damaged.

Green gram and black gram crops were hurt the most, with nearly 95 out of every 100 plants damaged.

Soybean and pigeon pea crops also lost about half of their growth.

A government leader named Eshwar Khandre went to visit the farms and talk to the farmers.

He said the government is ready to help and farmers do not need to panic.

The government will give money to farmers for their lost crops.

It will also provide more money for drinking water and jobs to stop people from moving away.

Officials have been asked to check the damage carefully.

The government says it stands with the farmers.
