Western Railway Announces Bandra-Bhavnagar Special Festival Trains
Western Railway is adding a temporary train service for the Paryushan Festival.
The train will travel between Bandra Terminus in Mumbai and Bhavnagar Terminus in Gujarat.
It will go from Mumbai to Bhavnagar every Tuesday evening.
It will return from Bhavnagar every Wednesday evening.
The journey will continue overnight in both directions.
The train will stop at several cities and towns along the route.
It will have air-conditioned, sleeper and general coaches.
Tickets can be booked at railway reservation counters or on the IRCTC website from September 11, 2026.
Western Railway will run weekly special trains between Bandra Terminus and Bhavnagar Terminus during the upcoming Paryushan Festival.
Train 09023 will leave Bandra Terminus at 7:25 pm on Tuesdays and arrive in Bhavnagar at 10:30 am the next day.
Train 09024 will depart Bhavnagar at 5:40 pm on Wednesdays and reach Bandra Terminus at 7:25 am the following day.
The trains will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Botad, Dhola, Songadh and Sihor.
The service will include AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches, with special-fare tickets available from September 11, 2026.
