Western Railway extends Mumbai special trains through November 2026
Western Railway is running some extra trains for longer than originally planned.
These trains connect Mumbai Central with Ahmedabad and Indore.
The Mumbai–Ahmedabad trains will run once a week.
The Mumbai–Indore trains will run twice a week on different days.
The extended services will continue until dates in the final week of November 2026.
Indore trains will stop at places including Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam and Ujjain.
Passengers can book tickets at railway reservation counters or through the IRCTC website.
These trains use Special Fares, which means their fares are designated as special fares.
Western Railway extended six Special Fare trains connecting Mumbai Central with Ahmedabad and Indore.
Train 09087 will run from Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad weekly on Wednesdays through November 25, 2026.
Train 09088 will return from Ahmedabad to Mumbai Central weekly on Thursdays through November 26, 2026.
Trains 09079 and 09080 will serve the Mumbai Central–Indore route through November 29 and 30, respectively, on bi-weekly schedules.
Trains 09085 and 09086 will also serve Mumbai Central and Indore through November 27 and 28, with bookings available through PRS counters and the IRCTC website.
