Suzlon Establishes Singapore Hub for Global Expansion
Suzlon Energy, a wind turbine maker, is setting up a new office in Singapore to help with its international business.
This office will manage sales, operations, and maintenance in Europe, Australia, and parts of Asia.
The company is also working on new turbine models and plans to update old wind farms to make them more efficient.
They believe this will help them grow and serve customers better around the world.
Suzlon Energy is establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore to serve as a regional headquarters for international business.
The Singapore office will oversee overseas sales, operations, and maintenance services, with a focus on Europe, Australia, and parts of Asia.
Suzlon aims to achieve 3 GW of international business by FY31, including 1 GW of annual overseas sales.
The company is developing new turbine platforms, including the S175 5 MW and S163 6.3 MW, with the first 105 MW order already received for the S175 platform.
Suzlon is also focusing on repowering ageing wind farms in India and overseas, with an estimated 25 GW repowering potential in India and 17 GW in Europe.
