Inter-State Burglar Arrested With Rs 12 Lakh Valuables in Warangal
Police in Warangal arrested a man they suspect of committing several house burglaries.
His name is Ashish Srinivas Reddy Malla, and he was arrested at a railway station.
Police said they found gold, silver, cash and two phones with him.
The recovered items were valued at about Rs 12 lakh.
Investigators used technical evidence to identify him.
Police allege that he looked for locked houses during the day.
They say he returned at night to commit burglaries.
Police also said he had faced four similar cases in Maharashtra before.
Mills Colony and CCS police arrested Ashish Srinivas Reddy Malla at Warangal railway station on Monday.
Police recovered 70.19 grams of gold, 527.9 grams of silver, Rs 29,875 and two mobile phones.
The arrest followed investigations into a series of house burglaries in Warangal.
Police allege the suspect identified locked houses during the day and robbed them at night.
Police said he had previously been arrested in Maharashtra over four burglary cases in 2024 and 2025.
