South Central Railway Announces Festive Season Special Train Services
South Central Railway is adding extra trains for the festive season.
These trains will give passengers more ways to travel on two busy routes.
One route connects Charlapalli and Berhampur.
The other connects Mumbai and Chennai.
The Charlapalli–Berhampur trains will run on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Mumbai–Chennai trains will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Some trains will have sleeper and general coaches, while the Mumbai–Chennai trains will have air-conditioned coaches.
The extra services may reduce pressure on regular trains during busy travel dates.
South Central Railway will run special trains on the Charlapalli–Berhampur and Mumbai–Chennai routes during October and November.
The Charlapalli–Berhampur service will operate on Fridays from October 2 to November 27, with nine services in each direction.
The return Berhampur–Charlapalli service will run on Saturdays from October 3 to November 28.
The CST Mumbai–Chennai Beach service will run on Wednesdays from October 14 to November 18, with six services.
The return Chennai Beach–CST Mumbai service will operate on Thursdays from October 15 to November 19, also with six services.
