Bengaluru is getting a new part of its Metro train system.

The first section of the Pink Line may open this month.

Workers are finishing tests and trial runs before passengers can use it.

Minister Krishna Byre Gowda and MP Tejasvi Surya rode the line on Wednesday.

The full Pink Line will run between Kalena Agrahara and Nagawara.

It will have 18 stations.

Some of the line will run underground, while the rest will be elevated.

When this section opens, Bengaluru’s Metro network will be longer than 100 kilometres.
