Gujarat’s Khel Mahakumbh Draws 76 Lakh Players, 3.49 Lakh Teams
Khel Mahakumbh is a large sports event held in Gujarat.
More than 76 lakh players have registered this year.
They will compete in over 35 sports, including football, athletics and judo.
More than 3.49 lakh teams have also signed up.
Boys and girls from across the state are taking part.
The event helps children, including those from rural areas, show their sporting skills.
Winners at different levels will receive cash prizes.
Talented children under 11 and under 14 may also be identified through the competitions.
A total of 76,02,178 players have registered for Gujarat’s Khel Mahakumbh 2026.
The event has attracted 3,49,747 teams across more than 35 sporting disciplines.
Registrations include 45,43,945 male and 30,58,233 female participants.
Online registration ran from August 29 through the evening of September 22.
Winners at taluka, district and state levels will receive cash prizes through Direct Benefit Transfer via RTGS.
