Bombay HC Upholds B.Tech Admission Cancellation Over Tampered CET Scorecards

The bench of Justices Riyaz Chagla and Farhan Dubash dismissed Mangire's petition on August 14.
Mangire claimed overall percentiles of 78.874707 and 73.5482364, but the State CET Cell found his actual percentiles were 7.8474707 and 13.5482364.
The CET Cell's supplementary report concluded the scorecards had been 'tampered with / fabricated' and were not generated by the authority.
The court declined to investigate whether Mangire himself fabricated the documents, leaving further action to competent authorities.
